Tell Manufacturing, an ASSA ABLOY brand is growing and we are looking for a Process Engineer II to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is an on-site position supporting daily operations and continuous improvement efforts across our facility.

What would you do as our Process Engineer II?
You’ll lead cost-reduction projects, optimize manufacturing processes, and provide technical leadership to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, standardize processes, and drive long-term operational performance.
You would also:
- Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities across materials, scrap, labor, and tooling
- Support new product and process introductions, ensuring smooth transitions into production
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
- Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs
- Monitor equipment performance and partner with Maintenance on repairs or upgrades
- Champion lean principles and 5S standards across assigned areas
- Manage mid-level capital and process improvement projects
- Special assignments as assigned
- Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
- Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
The Skills and Experience You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects
- Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing operations and workflow design
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and statistical analysis software (MiniTab preferred)
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
