Your role

You will play a key strategic, tactical and operational long-term role in facilitating and executing our plans to expand our business activities across the Nordic region. You will hold full commercial responsibility for the Nordic region, with a clear initial focus on Sweden. During the first 12–18 months, a significant share of your time (approximately 60–70%) will be dedicated to establishing a strong position in the Swedish market by building market presence, pipeline, and sustainable project inflow.

You will have a high degree of freedom and mandate to define priorities and shape the market approach within the agreed Nordic strategy. Your role is positioned as a hunter-driven key account role, where new business development is directly linked to disciplined and structured key account management. You will work systematically with:

  • Project-based solution sales
  • Early-stage project identification and influence
  • Structured engagement with key decision-makers and influencers

You will be responsible for building a strong and measurable commercial platform, where success is defined by:

  • Qualified pipeline development
  • Number and value of active projects
  • Market footprint and presence in prioritized segments
  • Conversion into order intake and sales (OIT)

You will actively leverage the ASSA ABLOY brand and group platform, which gives you a strong competitive advantage – particularly in Sweden and Finland, where brand awareness and credibility are high and significantly support sales effectiveness.

You will be part of a strong proactive Danish-based commercial organization, supported by an experienced internal sales team, a solid technical and project organization, and access to specialist competencies and networks within ASSA ABLOY Group. You will work closely with internal stakeholders while acting as the visible commercial lead in the Nordic markets.

 

Your profile

As a person you are perceived by others as a trustworthy ‘hunter’ who understands the importance of creating strong long-term partnerships. You are motivated by achieving results and combining persistence with a structured and analytical approach.

  • Extensive technical solution sales experience within Sweden or other Nordic countries
  • Strong commercial understanding and experience in opening new markets
  • Ideally with experience in dealing with architects, engineers and technical managers
  • Ability to work structured with CRM, pipeline and forecast
  • Good technical understanding - ideally with experience from the construction/heavy industry
  • Strong analytical skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Possess the ability to navigate agilely, on both a business and human level, in the interaction between a large global company and the business unit and company that you represent on a daily basis
  • Residence in Denmark or Sweden and willingness to travel approximately 120 days per year
  • Fluent in English
