About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Environmental Specialist to join our team on a 12-month max-term contract, based at either our Carole Park, Queensland, or Adelaide, South Australia locations. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and certifying our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. As a key part of the team, you will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, lead ISO training initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the organisation’s ISO Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).

  • Coordinate and communicate with departments to ensure ISO standards are consistently applied.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff regarding ISO standards, requirements, and updates.

  • Prepare and present ISO compliance reports and performance data to management.

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.

  • Actively participate in external ISO audits and inspections.

  • Maintain and update regulatory ISO documents.

  • Oversee the Corrective Action System and documented information procedures.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in quality and environmental management systems and the following:

  • 5 years experience in a similar role

  • Proven experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

  • Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage compliance projects.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communicator and trainer, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

  • Resilient and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
