About The Role
We are searching for a proven results-focussed Production Supervisor for our manufacturing plant at Hendon, South Australia.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will have 'hands on' leadership of a key part of the plant operations to ensure a quality product is achieved every time in a safe manner.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Proven success in a senior operational/supervisory role
- Excellent engagement and commercial skills
- Management experience in a high volume / fast-paced manufacturing environment (building products – ideal)
- Advanced knowledge of production systems and modern manufacturing practises
- Demonstrated skills in implementing continuous improvement, and
- Strong experience in OHS systems and strong computer (ERP) skills.
Ideally you will be results-oriented with a hands-on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership. You will bring strong technical knowledge; operating with a high level of structure, energy & autonomy and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
You will have demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and developing the team to be the best they can be to ensure the consistent achievement of production, quality and cost targets, while also keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing
- Self-driven, resilient, and want to succeed and own the accountability of the role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationships
- Able to engage broadly, multi-task, and have strong systems and analytical skills
