About The Role

We are looking for a talented Production Engineer to join our Operations Team based at either at our Brisbane or Adeliade Facility on a 12 month contract (with view to permanent).

As a Production Engineer you will play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes, ensuring seamless integration of design and manufacturing to deliver high-quality, custom-built Doors and Louvres.

  • Ensure accurate BOMs are created and maintained.
  • Ensure all critical components are included on the BOM.
  • Guarantee accurate auxiliary work instructions including but not limited to schematics
  • work instructions and documents are available to the production team for all jobs.
  • Manage Engineering Change Process.
  • Oversee change throughout the manufacturing process.

 

  • Establish and maintain the part number philosophy
  • Implement process improvement, evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Support the implementation of LEAN Practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless production processes.

Ideally you will be results oriented with a hands-on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership.  You will bring strong technical knowledge; operating with a high level of structure, energy and autonomy and the ability to work in cross functional teams.

 

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing
  • Self-driven, resilient, and want to succeed and own the accountability of the role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationships
  • Motivated to grow and develop yourself and overall capability
  • Able to engage broadly, multi-task, and have strong systems / analytical skills
