What you would do as our Technical & Field Support:


Reporting to the Technical Business Development Manager, you provide technical support and assistance to partners in the indirect business segment regarding the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sectional doors.


You would also: 


  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our sectional door products, specifications, and installation procedures, and provide guidance and recommendations to partners as needed.
  • Deliver technical training programs and materials for partners to enhance their product knowledge, installation skills, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Act as a liaison between partners and internal departments including sales, product development, and quality assurance to ensure effective communication and resolution of technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, advancements in sectional door technology, and relevant regulations and standards to provide informed technical guidance and support to partners.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with partners, demonstrate products, and showcase technical expertise.


The skills and experience you need:
We are looking for someone who:


  • Has at least 10 years of experience in a technical support and/or field installation of industrial products in a B2B environment
  • Speaks Dutch and English fluently. Knowledge of any other language could be a plus, especially French.
  • Has experience in technical product support, especially in construction or building materials industry within a B2B market. Knowledge of sectional doors or/and docking products will be a huge plus.
  • Has excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively, both remotely and in the field.
  • Has the ability to communicate with people from different levels, both internally and externally, with excellent listening and teaching skills.


Ideally, we are looking for someone who is autonomous and flexible, and who can plan their days and weeks efficiently. Someone who is home-based and prepared to travel up to 50% of their time.
