Product Specialist Docking

As our Product Specialist Docking 

you are working in a small international team with other product specialists. You will collect, utilize, distribute and extend the Docking product knowledge among service engineers and sales companies. You will assist the back-office in our sales companies and spare part centers throughout Europe. 

You are also responsible for:

• Support sales companies with preventive maintenance, repair, rebuilding and upgrading of Docking products (ASSA ABLOY and competitor products);
• Implement and introduce new and modified components into our spare part centers and sales companies, including documentation, training and maintaining the online spare parts catalogue;
• Collect and analyze Docking product related problems in the sales companies;
• Improve skills and knowledge of competitor Docking products;
• Create and document work procedures, troubleshooting, product identification, tools and other information on various digital portals.

Communication:

• An open way of communication with honesty and respected towards others;
• Regular contact with colleagues from various international companies within Business Segment Industrial;
• Sparring partner with the Research & Development department;
• Sparring partner with other product specialists in your team;

Background and personal qualities:

You are educated in electro-mechanical engineering with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, including problem solving. Specific knowledge of hydraulic systems as well as knowledge of docking products, industrial door and logistic solutions is preferred.

In addition to this you recognize yourself by the following characteristics:

• You solve non-standard technical issues;
• You are ambitious, cooperative and service minded;
• You are an excellent communicator in the English language to various levels in the organization;
• You are willing to travel if the situation requires (even at short notice and abroad);
• You are open and confident when speaking in front of international groups;
• You are naturally comfortable to work with new digital platforms;
• You preferably have Solid Works or similar experience.
