Head of Quality and Sustainability

The Head of QSHE is establishing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure high standards in quality, environmental sustainability, and workplace health and safety. This role focuses on compliance, continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence across the organization.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure product and process compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
  2. Environmental Management: Oversee initiatives to minimize environmental impact, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and promote sustainability practices.
  3. Safety and Health: Create and enforce workplace safety protocols to protect employees and reduce risks of accidents or illnesses.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant quality, safety, health, and environmental laws, regulations, and certifications.
  5. Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential non-conformities or hazards( GEMBA, 5S, Process audit as a must)
  6. Risk Management: Develop risk assessments and mitigation strategies for quality, environmental, and safety challenges.
  7. Training and Awareness: Provide training programs to enhance employee awareness and competencies in QSHE-related areas.
  8. Performance Monitoring: Track QSHE KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive excellence.
  9. Incident Management: Investigate incidents related to quality, safety, or environmental issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  10. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to integrate QSHE principles into all operations.
  11. Other areas of responsibility:
  • Must have a strong commitment to Quality, Safety and the Environment, ensuring compliance with all QSE related policies and procedures
  • Oversees the preparation of complete and correct documentation of all inspections and tests per regulatory, customer requirements
  • Oversees calibration of test/measuring equipment per written instructions
  • Oversees in-process inspection, internal auditing and maintains proper documentation
  • Audits processes and products per established procedures/work instructions to assure compliance with SR EN ISO 9001:2015
  • Participates in regulatory audits and work to create plans with leadership team to satisfy any audit findings
  • Oversees periodic sampling for environmental compliance
  • Evaluates facility for potential risks, makes recommendations for prevention of any hazards
  • Oversees the investigations of the workplace safety incidents to find a root cause

 

Education,Skills, Work Experience:

  • University degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a Quality, Safety and Environmental field
  • PC knowledge: ERP, MsOffice
  • Strong quality management knowledge, including auditing skills
  • Advanced English knowledge (level C1)
