Head of Production PP

The Head of Production Primary Processes is responsible for managing the end-to-end production of core manufacturing operations, including stamping, laser cutting, machining, tool shop refurbishment, design, and execution. He/she will also oversee auxiliary services such as galvanizing, tumbling, and polishing, ensuring seamless integration of all processes to deliver high-quality outputs efficiently. He/she participates in the development and implementation of the company's policies and procedures, analyzes, and prepares reports specific to the production activity to improve the company's performance indicators.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Process Oversight: Manages and optimizes primary manufacturing processes (stamping, laser cutting, machining) and supporting operations such as but not limited to galvanic treatments, tumbling, painting and polishing.
  2. Tool Shop Management: Oversees tool shop design, development, and maintenance to ensure production requirements.
  3. Strategic Planning: Develop and drive the execution within the extended team of production strategies aligned with business goals..
  4. Operational Excellence: Plans and optimizes  processes, workflows, schedules, and resources to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime, aiming to  reduce costs, improve productivity, and maintain quality.
  5. Quality Control: Collaborates with quality team to implement rigorous quality assurance processes across primary and auxiliary processes to meet and exceed industry standards.
  6. Technology Integration: collaborates with technical team to introduce advanced technologies and automation to modernize production processes and enhance precision.
  7. Team Leadership: Develop,  recruit and manage production teams, fostering a productive and safe work environment, targeting high standards of performance and low attrition culture capable of handling diverse manufacturing processes.
  8. Safety and Compliance: Maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all operations.
  9. Customer-Centric Operations: Walks the talk in enacting a customer first culture-ensures timely order fulfillment and incorporate customer feedback with no sacrifice to business KPIs..
  10. Performance Monitoring: Implements and tracks key performance metrics aim to achieve high business standards( productivity, cost, delivery performance as a must), reports on progress, and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Supply Chain Cooperation: Collaborate with supply chain team (procurement and inventory teams) to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, targeting  just in time inventory availability with no excess stocks and optimal material usage
  12. Other areas of responsibility:
  • Financial results of the managed Business Units - Profit & Loss (P&L).
  • Deployment of the new projects
  • Support provided within the management team

 

Education,Skills, Work Experience:

  • University degree
  • Minimum 3 years in coordinating a team/project and/or 5 years in a similar position;
  • Advanced English knowledge (level C1)
  • PC knowledge: ERP, Excel (pivots, using databases), Power Point
  • Strong Technical Knowledge
