What you would do as our Global Supply Chain Manager
The Global Supply Chain Manager leads and coordinates supply chain activities across the business area, working closely with both management teams and divisional functions to ensure alignment and effective collaboration. This role is responsible for overseeing and continuously improving global operations related to production, warehousing, and logistics - ensuring efficiency, consistency, and strong operational performance throughout the supply chain.
The Global Supply Chain Manager is a new role, and the candidate will be a key player in forming and establishing our future global supply chains.
You would also:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business goals, focusing on cost, efficiency, and risk.
- Set targets and track key supply chain KPIs to steer performance across the business area.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations - from procurement and production to logistics and delivery.
- Collaborate with teams across production, procurement, logistics, sales, and R&D to ensure alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, supplier management, and the Sales & Operations Planning process.
The role involves travel to our different business units and our suppliers, where the majority are located in Europe.
You will report to VP and Head of Operations Senior Care.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- has 5+ years of experience in global supply chain roles, with solid knowledge of sourcing, production, warehousing, and logistics; experienced in building international supply chains.
- preferably has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering and/or supply chain management.
- has a strong project and process mapping skills; and is familiar with quality tools such as for example 5S, FMEA, 8D and LEAN.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably SAP S4 HANA.
- Is fluent in English (spoken and written); Swedish, Dutch and/or German is a plus.
The ideal candidate possesses strong management skills and is capable of driving initiatives and projects, including leading change management efforts. They are an effective communicator who builds and maintains strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. With excellent analytical abilities, they approach challenges with a solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset. Highly self-motivated, they demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability in all aspects of their work.
