What you would do as our Product Manager:

  • Being the competence center within the BU Normstahl Crawford, focus area Industrial Doors
  • Update and develop product documentation (manuals, descriptions etc.) and assets (e.g. renders, BIM etc.) in cooperation with brand managers
  • Product lifecycle management (launch, maintain, phase-out, spares)
  • Bring input on improvement and innovation need from markets and customers into the organization (specification, customer experience, quality, performance etc.) and support R&D program

You would also:

  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on products and services
  • Follow competition offering in industrial doors
  • Support product portfolio strategy development
  • Develop and define product positioning as well as target group specific USPs and differentiation in products in collaboration with brand managers
  • Pricing: price/cost review, support cost based and value-based pricing strategies
  • Sales support on product related questions by own knowledge or coordination within the organization (product specialist, R&D)
  • Close cooperation with brand managers (provide technical content to support brand positioning and communication to customers


The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has got a high technical competence in field of mechanics and combined products (components working together to a full door solution)
  • Has got a good understanding of processes for door installation and door assembly/production
  • Has a Background in industrial and/or residential door business
  • Easly understand the customers and sales needs, ability to translate market requirements (features, functions, quality requirements) into products
  • Has got a good understanding and approach to optimize cost structures for product offering
