Bring products to life before they reach the world.
Do you love working hands-on with system-level testing, automation, and embedded technologies? Are you curious, self-driven, and motivated by solving complex challenges?
Here, your work ensures our smart access solutions perform flawlessly from day one. You’ll thrive in a collaborative team, enjoy experimenting with new tools, and help shape products that have global impact.
Your role
You will shape end-to-end testing of our products, ensuring quality, reliability, and continuous improvement from concept to launch. As part of the Digital Access Solutions Test Team, you will collaborate with design engineers, drive process improvements, and help innovate smarter testing methods across the team.
What you will work on
You will contribute to the quality and resilience of our systems:
- Review product requirements and specifications using modern tools and processes
- Define and implement test strategies to validate products at a system level
- Develop and execute automated test cases together with the system test team
- Analyze test results to identify failures, performance trends, and improvement areas
- Collaborate with design engineers and other stakeholders to act on test outcomes
- Continuously improve efficiency across the test cycle, leveraging AI and modern tools
What will help you succeed
You’ll thrive in this role if you combine technical curiosity with a structured engineering mindset. You bring:
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience, with a passion for system testing
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with automated test frameworks (such as Robot Framework)
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems and hardware protocols (RS485, I2C, etc.)
- Experience prototyping with system automations (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or similar platforms)
- Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset
- Flexibility to occasionally travel across the EU and other ASSA ABLOY regions
Experience with RF technologies is a plus, but curiosity and eagerness to learn are equally valued.
