The EMEIA Division is in search of an Python QA Developer (f/m/d) for our Digital and Access Solutions (DAS) business. In this role, you'll be instrumental in implementing and ensuring the high quality and end-to-end system robustness of connected devices within the EMEIA division, all while aligning with our cloud-connected architecture strategy. You'll report to the EMEIA Python QA Team Lead. Your Role as a Python QA Developer (f/m/d):

As a valued member of the DAS EMEIA Quality team, you'll be at the heart of defining and executing end-to-end system testing for our connected devices and services. Your work will seamlessly align with the digitalization journey outlined by the DAS EMEIA Access Control Solution (ACS) strategy.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating on the definition and execution of Test Integration activities throughout the software development life cycle. This entails working closely with colleagues to verify and ensure the robustness, stability, and overall quality of various applications.
  • Developing, reviewing, maintaining, and executing test environments, test plans, and test data, among other tasks.
  • Crafting Automation Test suites and driving Automated Testing Processes.
  • Analyzing test results and conducting root-cause analysis of detected defects, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to uphold our quality standards.
  • Coordinating and consulting with the development team on the testing of various system features and interfaces.

     

To excel in this role, we believe you will need:

  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and a track record of successfully implementing automated testing.
  • Substantial experience working as a software engineer/test engineer.
  • Familiarity with git, robot framework, and AWS technologies.
  • Understanding of continuous integration, end-to-end cloud operations, and continuous delivery.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Desired: Experience in testing mobile applications.
  • Desired: Experience in RFID and secure systems.
  • Desired: Experience in cryptography and embedded software testing.
