The Position:

 

As member of the RFID Passive Credential Engineering Team , you are responsible for managing the program managers and specialized engineers for pre-product innovation , new product innovation  and continuous product innovation  for card and prelaminate RFID product family.

 

From simple product customization up to substantial technical innovation challenges you have to deal with multiple interlocutors within an international and multicultural environment.

 

In this position you manage the resources and priorities for efficient product introduction, while driving the Product Innovation by ensuring the Competences of the Team is at the heart of your daily business.

 

As the Team Manager, you are at the facilitator of all these activities, liaising with all the relevant teams to report and prioritize the daily activities.

As our Senior Manager of Engineering , you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Manage Pre Product Innovation (PPI) with the Team resources and external compagnies or institutes.
  • Manage the Team competences and skills for efficient project management and execution.
  • Align activities between internal customer IDT BU (Business Units) and their Roadmap.
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Assess product quality, project risk, costs and planning

Your Qualifications and Experience include: 

 

  • Degrees in Engineering (Electrical / Manufacturing Engineering / Material Science / Chemical Science) or equivalent Engineering expertise in Science and/or Technology
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in one of the above listed Science.
  • Team management
  • Project/Program management
  • Experience in Card and Prelaminate design or manufacturing
  • Experience in RFID is an asset
