What You’ll Do
- Manage global procurement activities – negotiate frame contracts, prices, and terms and conditions with production partners and key suppliers while building strong, lasting relationships.
- Develop and implement forward-looking procurement strategies that align with SKIDATA’s goals, monitoring market trends and mitigating financial risks along the way.
- Act as the global point of contact for procurement, aligning local purchasing activities with global category strategies and corporate policies across SKIDATA subsidiaries.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and harmonization of procurement processes, tools, and systems – including the evaluation of AI-based tools and automation solutions.
In this role, you’ll be a driving force behind SKIDATA’s global procurement strategy, working hand in hand with production, R&D, and subsidiaries around the world. What You Bring
- Completed technical education with a commercial background
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally including exposure to international or multi-site environments
- Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in contract management
- Good judgement and analytical skills combined with a structured, solution-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; basic knowledge of customs, import/export, RoHS and EU regulations is a plus
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- A collaborative team player, comfortable working across international, cross-functional and multi-site teams

We offer a competitive salary based on your qualifications and professional experience. The minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement is EUR 2,535.00 gross per month on a full-time basis. Of course, your actual salary will be adjusted in line with the market based on your qualifications.
