Order Management & Fulfilment Specialist (m/f/d)

Location: Grödig (Salzburg area)

Help build the next generation of order management.

At SKIDATA, we're transforming our Order Management function into a smarter, more connected and increasingly automated way of working. If you enjoy bringing structure to complex processes, collaborating across teams and continuously looking for better ways of working, you'll play a key role in shaping how customer orders are managed in the future.

Why this role matters

Order management sits at the heart of our customer experience, connecting sales, production, logistics and finance. You'll ensure customer orders move seamlessly from order entry through to invoicing while helping us build a more scalable, data-driven way of working.

As part of our international Supply Chain Management team, you'll also contribute to ERP improvements and explore new automation and AI-assisted solutions, directly supporting both customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

The role

You'll own the complete customer order lifecycle—from order entry through to invoicing—working closely with colleagues across logistics, production, finance, subsidiaries and distribution partners to keep operations running smoothly. Alongside your operational responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to influence how our processes evolve by supporting ERP improvements, standardisation and automation initiatives.

We're looking for someone who enjoys combining operational excellence with a continuous improvement mindset—someone who takes ownership, pays attention to detail and is always looking for smarter ways of working.

What you'll work on

  • Own the end-to-end customer order lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing from order receipt through to invoicing.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, finance, subsidiaries and distribution partners to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Work within Microsoft Dynamics AX while contributing to the continuous improvement of our ERP processes and tools.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual activities and contribute to digitalisation and automation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures and training materials that support consistent ways of working.
  • Contribute to projects that strengthen our order management capabilities, including AI-assisted tools and process improvements.

What will help you succeed

  • Experience in order management, order fulfilment or logistics coordination, with a solid understanding of the customer order lifecycle.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage) and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good communication skills in both German (min C1) and English, enabling effective collaboration across international teams.
  • A structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • An interest in continuous improvement, digitalisation and finding smarter ways of working together.

What You Can Expect

  • Flexible Hybrid Work Model – Balance collaboration in our Grödig office with the flexibility of our hybrid working model, helping you achieve a healthy work–life balance.
  • Meal Allowance – Enjoy a digital meal allowance designed to give you flexibility and choice throughout your working day.
  • Job Bike Leasing Programme – Take advantage of our bike leasing programme to support a healthier, more active lifestyle.
  • Transport Subsidy – Receive financial support for your Job Ticket, making your daily commute easier and more affordable.
  • Extra Vacation Days – Benefit from the option to purchase an additional week of holiday, giving you more time to rest and recharge.
  • Support for Sustainable Commuting – Access electric vehicle charging stations at our office, helping you make more sustainable travel choices.
  • Global Collaboration – Work alongside colleagues from across our international business, sharing knowledge, expertise and different perspectives.
  • Professional Growth Opportunities – Expand your skills through cross-functional collaboration and continuous opportunities for learning and career development.
