Export Specialist with French language

 

Job Title: Export Specialist – External (French Language)
Location: Gdańsk, ul. Leona Droszyńskiego 24, bud. F2
Reports to: Sales Director External, Door Business Segment EMEIA

Position Overview
As part of the Export 2.0 organisation, the Export Specialist – External (French Language) plays a key role in strengthening ASSA ABLOY’s presence in international markets. This role focuses on building trusted relationships with external customers including general contractors, distributors, and specification partners.

You will manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts while also supporting our expansion into new regions where we do not have a domestic door business. Working closely with the Sales Director External, you will help define regional priorities, develop the sales pipeline, and deliver long-term growth through high-quality customer engagement and commercial support.

This position is based in our Gdańsk office. Due to the tools and systems in use, we are only considering candidates who can work on site.

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer relationships and account growth
-Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers across your assigned international markets
-Support French-speaking customers, ensuring clear and professional communication
-Prepare detailed and accurate sales offers based on technical documentation and project needs
-Guide clients through the quotation, clarification, and order process in collaboration with technical and internal project teams
-Ensure that contract terms and customer requirements are met and followed through to delivery

Business development and market expansion
-Collaborate with the Sales Director External to identify and prioritise new regions and customer segments for growth
-Actively reach out to new contractors, distributors, and project stakeholders to introduce our product offer
-Promote ASSA ABLOY’s door solutions as reliable, compliant, and technically advanced options for a wide range of international applications
-Support bids, proposals, and marketing efforts to position our offer in new projects and regions

Internal collaboration and project coordination
-Work closely with colleagues in engineering, logistics, pricing, and production to ensure a seamless customer experience
-Contribute to CRM updates and reporting, supporting sales forecasting and performance tracking
-Share insights from the market to help improve our product offer and approach

 

Requirements

Experience and education
-Experience in B2B export, sales, or project coordination, ideally in the construction or building materials industry
-Ability to manage existing clients while actively developing new business opportunities

Languages
-Fluent in French
-Strong command of English
-Additional languages such as German or Spanish are a plus

Skills and attributes
-Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-Commercial mindset with the ability to manage accounts and generate new leads
-Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-ERP or CRM system experience is an advantage
-Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
-Driving licence (Category B) required
-Willingness to work daily from our Gdańsk office
