Location: Poland (flexible; primary site Gdańsk, ul. Leona Droszyńskiego 24, bud. F2)
Reports to: Business Unit Manager – Data Centre, Door Business Segment EMEIA
Position Overview
As part of our fast-growing Data Centre vertical, the BIM Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality digital models that support complex international projects. You will be responsible for managing and developing BIM content and Revit families, ensuring smooth coordination with architectural teams, and contributing directly to the successful delivery of major data centre projects.
This is a highly collaborative position, working closely with Project Managers and internal technical teams, as well as with clients and partners across Europe. It offers the chance to apply your modelling expertise in a sector full of opportunity, innovation, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Revit and BIM content creation
-Manage existing Revit libraries and create new parametric Revit families (RFA) for technical door solutions
-Ensure consistency and compliance of BIM content with company standards and project-specific requirements
-Adapt and integrate Revit content into architectural and coordination models provided by clients
Project support and collaboration
-Work closely with Project Managers to meet project milestones and delivery timelines
-Publish coordination models using client-designated platforms such as BIM360 and BIM Track
-Identify and flag potential installation or coordination issues, ensuring proactive communication with relevant stakeholders
Library and model management
-Maintain a structured and well-documented BIM content library to support future tenders and projects
-Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to ensure all content accurately reflects product performance and specifications
-Support the export team with BIM files and documentation needed for international project bids
Requirements
Education and experience
-Higher education in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field
-Proven experience creating and managing Revit families and BIM libraries
-Experience working on international projects is a strong advantage
Software skills
-Proficient in Autodesk Revit, including parametric family creation
-Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Autodesk AutoCAD (2D documentation)
-Familiarity with cloud collaboration tools such as Autodesk BIM 360
-Knowledge of additional tools such as Autodesk Dynamo, ArchiCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks is a plus
Skills and attributes
-Strong 3D visualisation skills and spatial awareness
-Well-organised, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks
-Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
-English at a communicative level is required
-Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams
