We have an exciting opportunity to join our Galway team as a Warehouse Co-Ordinator

As a Warehouse Co-Ordinator, you will co-ordinate warehouse activities & collaborate closely with our global supply chain team. This role focuses on providing onsite warehouse support for receiving, stocking, “picking” and shipping, solving problems & maximizing warehouse efficiencies & opportunities for our business & customers.  

 

In this role, you will perform all inbound duties from the unloading of freight, quality control inspections, order entry into our Material Management database (Oracle) & manage outbound shipments with complete accuracy.

As our Warehouse Co-Ordinator, you will support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Ensuring the Material Management system is updated in real time. 

  • Receive goods, including checking, counting, and putting away stock. 

  • Pick and pack customer orders for (same day) distribution.  

  • Generate & complete logistics documentation (including delivery notes, AWB (air waybill) & packaging slips with complete accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records through regular audits and data entry 

  • Manage all returns of product (returns from customers & returns to suppliers) 

  • Assisting in achieving quality and KPI targets.  

  • Prepare and present reports on warehouse activities and performance. 

  • Communicating effectively with Supervisors and Managers regarding customer, product, and shipping issues. 

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, assisting in audits when necessary. 

  • Use company vehicles and forklifts. 

  • Flexibility to perform other duties as required 

 

What we will love about your background:   

 

  • 3-5 year's experience in a warehouse administration / co-ordination or related role. Ideally, in a high-volume warehouse/distribution environment within an international company / setting 

  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems, processes & best practices 

  • Hands- on experience with materials handling 

  • Experience working with freight companies & their systems e.g. FedEx, Powership, Airborne Libra, Air Cargo, LTL Carriers etc.) 

  • Direct experience coordinating international imports & exports 

  • Proactive approach with a can-do attitude 

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. 

  • Flexible attitude towards work and working hours as required 

 

Your Experience and Education include:              

  

  • Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain or related field desirable but not essential or have 3 years of equivalent experience. 

  • Excellent IT & system skills 

  • Valid Forklift license desirable but not essential 

  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling desirable but not essential
