As our Regional Trade Analyst EMEA, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Coordinating clearance with brokers and carriers in a timely manner for key business areas.
- Responding to inquiries related to clearances, including HS Code, Country of Origin, valuation of goods, and CPC.
- Providing support to stakeholders from various departments, such as Sales, Customer Service, Operations, etc.
- Managing external data compilation from multiple sources to support BI for trade metrics.
- Identifying discrepancies in shipments to support the business in mitigating risk exposure.
- Conducting periodic audits on transactions submitted by brokers.
- Complying with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
- Supporting Import and Export Licences applications when necessary.
Your Experience and Background include:
- Capable of creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, written reports, and documentation.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results.
- Team player, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Education and/or Experience
- 1-2 years of logistics and/or transportation management experience in a global environment.
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Language Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Fluency in other languages is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret regulations, specifications, and international technical standards.
- Computer Skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel (Pivot Tables / Power Query), and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred.
- Experience with OAC data analysis is preferred.
