About the Role

 

We are looking for a Financial Assistant to join our finance department, which is part of a company within a multinational Swedish group. The finance department is a small team, and you will play an important and broad role with responsibility for the day-to-day operational finance work. The position offers good insight into the business and close collaboration with both local colleagues and group functions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

In the role of Financial Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Handling Accounts Payable, including registration, review, and posting of supplier invoices
  • Handling Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, follow-up of customer payments, and reconciliations
  • Bank administration, including:
    • Incoming and outgoing payments
    • Bank account reconciliations
    • Contact with banks when needed
  • Ongoing administrative and finance-related tasks connected to daily operations
  • Supporting other functions within the finance department as required

 

Qualifications

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a relevant degree in finance/accounting or equivalent work experience
  • Has experience working with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Is familiar with bank payments and reconciliations
  • Has strong system skills and the ability to quickly learn new financial systems
  • Has fluent proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Previous experience with Medius and Infor M3 is considered an advantage, but is not a requirement
