What you would do as our Finance Manager
You would manage and oversee the company’s financial reporting and accounting operations, providing day-to-day support to the business and monitor overall financial performance. You would deliver analysis of key performance indicators to support business development, act as a gatekeeper for compliance and financial accuracy, and focus on the continuous improvement of financial processes.
You would ensure high-quality and timely accounting and reporting in accordance with ASSA ABLOY standards, maintain the integrity of the balance sheet and income statement in line with IFRS, the ASSA ABLOY accounting manual, and statutory regulations. Additionally, you will manage the year-end audit and any internal audits.
You would report directly to the EMEA Senior Finance Director.
You would also:
- Perform financial and operational trend analysis, provide regular KPI insights, and initiate improvement processes across both finance and operations.
- Monitore the investment process, including payback time, cash flow impact, capitalization, and CIP aging. You would also approve CAPEX and drive cash flow and debt management, while optimizing working capital.
- Act as a true finance business partner to both local and regional teams. You would manage financial matters, communicate risks to senior management in a timely manner, and propose solutions. You would also prepare ad hoc reports, analyses, and presentations for business and operational reviews.
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and reporting packages in line with company guidelines and deadlines. You would also manage short- and long-term pricing and cost strategies in alignment with regional plans.
- Oversee and own local payroll activities, and support the local HR administration as a trusted partner.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including income tax law, local regulations, and IFRS. Prior experience in a matrix organization within an international company is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to deliver timely and accurate financial data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, as well as experience with HFM/OneStream and ERP systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English.
Ideally you would be accurate, flexible, and communicative, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; proactive in driving continuous improvement; a self-starter with high energy and drive; and resilient in handling pressurized situations.
