The Regional Sales Manager Western US position is a quota-carrying and individual contributor role that will run all phases of a sales cycle. As RSM you have a hunter sales mindset with a strong work ethic and a history of successful accomplishments, which includes a strong focus on driving revenues. Experience working within the identity authentication and verification industry is highly desired. 


As our Regional Sales Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:  

  • Meeting and/or exceeding annual booking targets 

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive regional business plan 

  • Continually building and growing a robust sales pipeline 

  • Successfully managing all aspects of sales process 

  • Teaming up with HID channel partners in your territory 

  • Working closely with pre-sales & post sales teams 

  • Maintaining an updated and accurate forecast in CRM (

  • Hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills, the ability to manage multiple large opportunities at one time, meet critical deadlines, and be able to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic work environment 

  • Knowledge of Identity Access & Management, Cybersecurity, Physical Security, or Enterprise Software space 

  • Extensive network of customers and advocates in market 

  • Thorough understanding of sales processes and methodologies 

  • Solid business judgment and resourcefulness 

  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization 

  • Willingness to travel 


Your Experience and Education include:      

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in a business or technical field. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.  

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in sales with a proven track record of accomplishment in achieving revenue targets and strategic growth goals.   

  • Experience selling biometric products, facial recognition, RFID technologies and/or card credential technologies a plus.  

  • Significant experience using CRM to manage and forecast pipeline opportunities (Salesforce exp a plus) 

  • Experience as an individual contributor and demonstrated success consistently meeting individual targets. 

  • Strong technical aptitude and able to convey and understand technical concepts
