Warehouse Production Specialist

The Warehouse Worker in the Marine Division is responsible for performing a variety of shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks to support daily warehouse operations. This includes processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized. The role also involves coordination with freight carriers and other departments and requires a professional demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Log and receive incoming orders into the ERP system
- Match purchase orders with vendor packing lists
- Stock and restock inventory in assigned locations daily
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
- Generate and print shipments multiple times daily
- Prepare freight documents for domestic shipments
- Contact freight companies for best shipping rates on heavy packages
- Load and unload trucks using a pallet jack or forklift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Collaborate with and support other departments when needed
- Represent the Marine Division professionally in all communications
- Provide hands-on mechanical support for production needs
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the warehouse operation
SKILL REQUIREMENTS AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with production tasks as needed, including troubleshooting and basic equipment support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer systems, including ERP software, FedEx, and UPS platforms
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage tasks efficiently
- Forklift experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive, professional interaction with clients, vendors, and coworkers
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to perform all job functions safely and consistently in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards
- Regular and punctual attendance required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely
