HID’s Identification Technologies Business Unit (IDT)

This position will be a part of the Healthcare IoT services team, reporting to the Vice President, Healthcare Sales, RTLS.  This role will focus on new business and existing regional accounts with RTLS solutions in the South Eastern NAM Region.


As our Territory Sales Director, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Building a pipeline of new business while developing new opportunities in current accounts.
  • Developing strategic relationships with customers and prospects at different levels within the organization, understanding their specific pain points and requirements, while also identifying any organizational and political roadblocks.
  • Collaborating with leadership on developing strategic plans to grow new accounts and use cases.
  • Accurately forecasting sales pipeline and closing business against defined quotas.
  • Supporting sales and marketing efforts at trade shows and industry events.
  • Working with the appropriate internal stakeholders and channel partners.

  • Proactive, hands-on approach toward products, markets, and clients' business challenges.
  • Experience selling Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) preferred.
  • Experience selling both hardware and software desired.
  • Healthcare market experience preferred.
  • Experience selling through system integrators and other distribution channels highly preferred.


Your Experience and Education include:        

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University, engineering degree strongly preferred. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant job experience may also be considered.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
  • 4 plus years of experience and a proven track record of new business development within the Healthcare technology industry and meeting or exceeding growth targets highly preferred.
  • Up to 25% overnight travel in North America required.
  • Ability to travel to Canada upon hire. Training and knowledge transfer will take place in Vancouver, Canada. Therefore, employees must possess or be able to acquire a valid passport upon hire.
  • Advanced in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software highly preferred.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The base salary in the United States is $100,000.00 to $118,000.00. The OTE is up to $196,000.00
