The Head of Product is responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Real-Time Location Systems portfolio. This leader will guide product discovery, oversee execution, and collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer teams to deliver innovative, high-value RTLS solutions. The role combines strategic market understanding with hands-on product leadership to drive adoption, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth across the business.

As our Head of Product - RTLS, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Defining the long-term product strategy and vision for our RTLS portfolio.
  • Identifying market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends to guide strategic prioritization.
  • Building and owning a multi-year roadmap aligned with company goals and revenue targets.
  • Leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing product team.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering, UX, sales, marketing, and operations
  • Establishing best-practice processes for product discovery, requirements, and release management.
  • Translating customer requirements and business objectives into clear product specs and user stories.
  • Running data-driven product cycles with strong execution focus and predictable delivery.
  • Partnering with engineering leadership to ensure products ship on time, with high quality and measurable impact.
  • Owning product performance metrics: adoption, retention, ARR, and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluating build/buy/partner decisions for new capabilities.
  • Supporting pricing strategy, packaging, and go-to-market planning.

 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • A lower level - level degree combined with additional relevant experience is required.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with RTLS, IoT, indoor positioning, wireless technologies (BLE, UWB, Wi-Fi), or enterprise SaaS strongly preferred.
  • Proven success defining and launching complex B2B or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize insights from data and customer feedback.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and balance strategic priorities with execution.
