We’re looking for Logistics Coordinator to join our Spence Doors team based in Forest Glen, QLD.

 

What You’ll Do

In this active and dynamic role, you will be reporting directly to the Operation Manager.

  • Facilitate the delivery of finished product to sites. Monitor daily shipment routes and schedules
  • Participate in production meetings - Provide information on jobs scheduled for delivery that are outstanding
  • Control the allocation of timeslots for inward/outward loads
  • Liaise with customers to arrange delivery schedules to meet customer requests and expectations.
  • Manage staff hours, and minimise the use of external contractors
  • Ensure drivers met all legal requirements, transport regulations and perform task correctly and in a timely manner
  • Ensure all transport documentation is up to date, correct and rectify issues as required
  • Ensure company vehicle maintenance and registration is up to date
  • Liaise with warehouse employees and other departments in relation to goods movements. Monitor packaging material stocks
  • Conduct deliveries in the work Ute or truck.
  • Provide reports to Management on finished product.

 

You’ll also:

  • Ensure safety for all employees and drivers
  • Report defective goods
  • Keep your work area clean and safe

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a manufacturing environment (factory, production, assembly, or fabrication).

  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials and production process
  • Good knowledge of the transport industry and the regulations
  • Experience in logistics and supervision of a team
  • Excellent planning, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
