- Position: Finance Control Team Lead
- Report to: Finance Director of GCSEA Product Company
- Working time: 8:00 – 17:00 | Monday – Saturday
- Location : DEEP C 2B Industrial Zone, Dinh Vu, Hai Phong
- Responsibility:
This position will be responsible for Finance operations, working closely with Finance Director and Operation VP to deliver financial & operation KPIs as well as drive plant improvement initiatives and productivity program.
- Financial planning and forecasting
- Oversee the preparation of annual financial plan (FP) and quarterly financial forecasts (FC).
- Collaborate with various departments (Product Management, Production Engineering, Warehouse Management etc.) to create accurate, data-driven planning.
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Perform closing report including financial statements (balance sheets, income statements), and any other report required by Group & Division.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate recording and documentation of financial transactions.
- Co-work with shared service team for regular balance review; Drive improvement to eliminate unreconciled and clear aged balances.
- Cost Management and Profitability
- Full ownership of controllership, costing analysis for factories, manage month-end, and year-end closing process and prepare monthly operation performance reports including the relevant variance analysis
- Coordinate standard cost calculation and RFQ process.
- Analyze production costs and identify areas for improving operational efficiency.
- Ensure adequate costing and accounting process in place, including standard cost updates, physical inventory verification, periodic cycle counts and FA physical count, detect risky control deficiencies.
- Compliance and risk management
- Maintain internal controls and compliance measures to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure adherence to Group accounting policy, local regulations, tax law and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to complete mandatory audit activities and tax filing.
- Provide full support to all Compliance investigations and Audits, lead ad-hoc projects as required.
- Business partnering with operation team
- Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and propose process improvements
- Co-work with operation team to ensure adequate control to plant asset and close tracking on inventory, conducting annual physical count
- Support operational decisions with financial insights
- Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (master’s degree or CPA is plus).
- Extensive experience in financial management (minimum 8 years’ professional experience).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a must, preferably with MNC.
- Familiar local statutory requirements (knowledge on IFRS is a plus).
- Sound business acumen, results-oriented approach, analytical and problem-solving skillset.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build relationships across all departments.
- Lead with a strong compliance and integrity mindset
- Good at verbal and written English.
- Be familiar with ERP system and Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.).
