We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead and motivate our central inside sales team at HID’s business area Identification Technologies (IDT).

This team primarily focuses on managing and growing existing customers as well as owning and driving the lead management process.

 

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, establishing strategic long-term goals, and identifying & tracking key performance indicators to drive sales growth.

 

In this role, you will be instrumental in training and developing our inside sales team, building a high-performance culture to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, and collaborating effectively with the outside sales team, marketing, customer support, and business development.

IDT is a fast-growing business area within HID (division of ASSA ABLOY) providing a broad portfolio of contactless identification and sensing technologies (RFID, NFC, BLE) facilitating identification, collection, and management across various IoT applications.

As our Inside Sales Manager, you will support HID’s success by:

Team Leadership and Management

  • Manage, mentor, and develop the central inside sales team, creating an open and communicative environment.
  • Oversee efforts to manage and nurture relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow accounts and ensure long-term retention.
  • Own and drive the lead management process, from initial contact to qualification and nurturing, ensuring a smooth transition to the appropriate teams for closing.

Strategic Goals and Initiatives

  • Define specific goals and strategies for the team for account and lead management aligned with IDT’s strategy and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective sales initiatives together with regional sales managers.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to drive sales growth and customer engagement

Process Improvement and KPI Development

  • Establish and track relevant KPIs to measure team performance accurately.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts and performance reviews on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Generate and analyze trend reports on lead conversions and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure the team follows up on leads in a timely manner and meets conversion targets.
  • Ensure the team is proactively addressing customer needs and delivering solutions to drive growth.

Training & Development

  • Assess training needs for the team and allocate budget effectively; partner with vendors such as Sandler for training deployment.
  • Implement comprehensive sales and product training plans, including Salesforce and LinkedIn Navigator usage.
  • Develop and oversee an efficient onboarding process for new hires.

 

What we will love about your background

  • Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce, and familiarity with LinkedIn Navigator is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.

 

Your Experience and Education include:

  • Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in (inside) sales management or related leadership roles.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and create actionable strategies for improvement.
