To strengthen our team at our location on Tullastraße in Ettenheim, we are looking for a Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d).


What you would do as our Lead Software Test Engineer


As a Lead Software Engineer, you will lead and coach a team of software engineers as well as design and develop software code for the products within the SEC portfolio. You will together with the team build up and maintain a software standard and strategy and ensure that this is followed. You will on daily base plan, and follow up progress with the team.
 

You would also:

  • Lead a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality and legislation standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other engineers, to define project requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
  • Build up a code strategy regarding code quality, processes, architecture, tools and way of working.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed across the team.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the robustness and reliability of the software.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.


The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
  • Experience in software development processes, embedded programming, and programming for sensors and actuators.
  • experience in a global and complex Product development organization. Deep software knowledge and experience of electronics. Familiar with agile methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage & motivate
