This focused team is providing sales,  services and support to the local resellers, integration partners and end-customers.

The role

The Support Field Engineer role involves providing technical and application solution support to our resellers, integration partners and end customers in Finland. This role will be based at an ASSA ABLOY office but working from home is also possible since frequent travel within Finland will be common.

You are passionate about providing outstanding customer service and comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment. You are self-motivated, with an excellent attention to technical details and service. You have the ability to prioritize workloads and also have flexibility in tackling new tasks and adapt to changing environments. This role will be reporting to the Regional Director of Traka Nordics but working closely with the Business management director for Finland on a day to day basis.

 

Job responsibilites

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support and application consultation to resellers, integraiton partners and end customers
  • Provide professinal services such as installation of software remote and onsite
  • Be the main contact point for technical support in Finland
  • Coordinate with other technical support colleagues at Traka Nordic (Sweden) and the Traka Europe support team in the UK
  • Troubleshoot and resolve various technical support issues
  • Keep all support, projects and customer information up to date in software tools
  • Assist with trade show and other marketing activities setup and attendance as needed
  • Give input to management with the development of technical training and products
  • Be part of and provide input to Traka Europe Technical lead forum
  • Maintain and deliver training to both resellers and end customers

 

 

Qualifications and skills

  • Experience in Information Technology and Network Engineering, Networking (TCP/IP)
  • Master Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server, IIS services, Windows server versions
  • Experience in security solution system design and installation
  • Experience from access control and enterprise-level security systems is desirable
  • Experience on supporting software integrations (API)
  • Technical Support experience (remote and onsite) with exelent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • The candidate requires demonstrating a good level of English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Travel will be required and driver licence is mandatory
  • Self motivated and abilty to work independently with minimum supervision
  • The ability to work on an individual basis and as part of a team
