Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to drive innovation in digital access solutions? We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Digital Access Solutions (DAS) team at Abloy in Espoo, Joensuu, or Tampere, Finland. In this role, you will lead cross-functional development projects and collaborate with experts across software, electronics, and mechanical engineering to deliver innovative security and access solutions.

This role reports to the Director & Head of Product Line Management for our Key-based Digital Cylinders Product Unit. This is a fixed-term position covering a parental leave, with an expected duration until the end of 2027.

What you would do as our Project Manager

Your core responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 

• Leading and managing multiple development projects, ensuring clear scope, timelines, budgets, and priorities so that all project team members understand their roles and deliverables.
• Driving projects within digital locking solutions, including ABLOY PULSE and CLIQ, bringing together software, electronics, and mechanical engineering expertise.
• Planning and executing projects from initiation to completion, including defining objectives, resource needs, costs, and timelines while ensuring technical feasibility and high-quality outcomes.
• Facilitating effective communication and collaboration across project teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitoring project progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, and actively coordinating with project managers, programme managers, and other key stakeholders across the ASSA ABLOY Group.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong project management skills, combined with a proactive, development-oriented mindset and a structured approach to delivering results.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and inspire others.
• A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that create value for stakeholders.
• High levels of initiative, accountability, and problem-solving ability, with a hands-on approach and the confidence to drive projects forward independently.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects involving mechanics, electronics, embedded software, and software solutions. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, is considered a strong advantage, and fluency in both English and Finnish is required.
