Product Developer, Mechanical Engineer

What you would do as our Product Developer:
You would primarily focus on electromechanical locks, integral to our electrical door control system. Your responsibilities would include guiding the product from conception to industrialization, requiring close collaboration with various stakeholders and departments across our organization. This multidisciplinary engagement will offer excellent opportunities to enhance your expertise in product development.
You would also:

  • Be involved in new product development projects.
  • Be involved in all stages of the product’s lifetime.
  • Design, update and revise product related documents such as 3D CAD models, drawings, and other relevant R&D related documentation.
  • Participate in quality increasing activities and work with continuous improvements in cross-functional teams.

 

 

The skills and experience you need:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a technical engineering degree within mechanics and or mechatronics, or other relevant education or professional experience.
  • Is skilled in 3D CAD SolidWorks, both modelling and creation of drawings.
  • Is familiar with G&D tolerances, tolerance analysis and has experience work with PLM systems, preferably Team Center.
  • Has experience of sheet metal forming, plastic injection molding, metal injection molding, 3D printed prototypes, die casting or precision casting.
  • Is fluent in English with a good understanding of written and spoken Swedish.

Ideally, possesses previous working experience with similar products, including integrated electronics such as PCBs, motors, and sensors in mechanical constructions. Demonstrates initiative and can work effectively both independently and in groups. Additionally, exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a structured approach to work.
