This role is in support of two Business Areas within HID – Citizen Identity (CID) and Secure Issuance (SI). The CID & SI Business Strategy Manager will report directly to the SVP & Head of Secure Issuance and Citizen Identity Business Areas. This highly visible role will provide ample opportunity to be intimately involved in all aspects of the two business areas’ strategies with exposure to other Business Areas and Global Functions across the organization.

HID’s Citizen Identity & Secure Issuance Department: 

Citizen Identity offers a Government to Citizen Identity portfolio consisting of end-to-end software solutions for Government programs, mobile ID solutions, state-of-the-art credentials, document components and security features, and professional services. Secure Issuance provides products and solutions for the issuance of secure identity credentials.


As our Corporate Strategy Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Working closely with the Business Area leaders in formulating and capturing the collective strategies to support the business area which may include industry research
  • Managing complex research and analyses to drive business case development for key strategic focus areas
  • Prioritizing analysis through hypothesis-based problem solving while identifying downstream business implications and insights
  • Translating analysis output into practical and implementable recommendations
  • Supporting end-to-end Business Area strategy development including adjustments to existing strategies based on new learnings and changes in the competitive environment.
  • Being an individual contributor and manage projects, including defining the project scope, performing quantitative analysis, synthesizing recommendations, preparing executive level business presentations, presenting results to leadership, and driving adoption and implementation of identified actions
  • Sharing insights and recommendations in a structured and easily digestible manner in both written and oral format, persuading based on facts and sound logic
  • Helping track and monitor key initiatives and results of implemented strategies
  • Being the champion of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and ensure both business areas are leveraging the methodology to drive our 5-year strategy

Your Experience and Education include:             

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Strategy or Economics is desirable, or other relevant college experience with demonstrated strategic capability  
  • 3 plus years professional experience in top-tier management consulting firm
