E-Commerce Content Marketing Intern

 

Job Summary

This role is responsible for assisting the eCommerce product content marketing team in current initiatives. This individual will have the opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for a global consumer products company.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing new item set-up procedure on eCommerce partner sites (Amazon Vendor Central, Home Depot Supplier Hub, Lowes) leveraging software automation to ensure speed to market and coordinated on-time delivery based on product launch dates
  • Ensure brand consistency & compliance across all major eCommerce partner sites (Amazon, HD.com, Lowes.com, Build.com, Menards.com)
  • Support with enriching product data in the Salsify product information management system with a focus on improving quality, consistency and completeness
  • Process Creative Work Orders for Sales and Marketing Requests
  • Image Clean up in Digital Asset Management Portal with Metadata Additions

 

Education and Experience Profile

  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
  • Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in Marketing/Business
  • Ideal candidate is in their Senior year and able to work 25+ hours per week

  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral
  • Strong emphasis on achieving commitments
  • Self-motivated to multi-task and meet deadlines assigned
  • Prioritizes those projects that will maximize benefit to the organization
  • Operates with a sense of urgency; identifies opportunities and acts quickly to achieve results

 

Work Environment:
