The Fuel Automation business segment is increasing its capacity to develop a number of new readers and credentials for specialized and hazardous environments. 

This role will be critical in providing coordination and control of these initiatives alongside supporting the engineering team to enhance their agile practices as they transition towards a more self-organising scrum methodology.

Essential Duties :

Project Management

  • Establish realistic delivery expectations through effective roadmaps and scheduling
  • Monitor project activities and track progress towards interim milestones.
  • Provide regular and accurate reports for project members and stakeholdersto to support effective decision making.
  • Identify and manage dependencies with external teams.
  • Support product launch activities including documentation, design and industrialization validation, regulatory compliance and product certifications.
  • Manage and record project decisions and risks.
  • Manage and record project phase reviews.
  • Provide necessary process governance for compliance and audit purposes.

Agile Transformation Support

  • Support the team in understanding and applying agile principles as they adopt the Scrum methodology.
  • Teach, coach or mentor, as appropriate, the team to enable them to fulfil the development, product owner and scrum master responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the Global PMO and other Communities of Practice to promote and adopt best practices applicable to the team’s needs.
  • Drive team and project continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and meaningful metrics.

 

Education and/or Experience :

  • +3 years’ experience in a project management role within a product development environment, preferably including hardware, firmware, software and manufacturing functions.
  • Qualification in project management, such as PMI  or APM, with proven experience in leading projects—within the technical/technology industry.
  • Qualification in Agile methodology such as Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, SaS, or roles such as Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Experienced in managing people, demonstrating strong leadership, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Communication and facilitation skills to build strong relationships, both internally and with customers, to support collaboration and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Is capable of accurate and professional reporting, handling confidential data responsibly and maintaining high standards in forecasting and governance.

 

Customer Expectations :

  • Good Numeracy Skills including processing graphical data.
  • Natural interest in Electronic products and technology.
  • Familiar with on line software systems for Project Management such as Jira, office 365, Sharepoint.
  • Familiar with project management methodologies , Scrum , agile, etc.
  • Excellent communication, planning and time management skills.
  • Able to prioritize deadlines and balance conflicting demands.
  • Resourceful, Proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work within a project-based and team-based environment.

 

 

Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
