Trade Marketing Specialist

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies for the Middle East market to achieve sales and brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create channel-specific promotional plans.
  • Identify opportunities in the middle east to improve product visibility and brand presence in retail environments.
  • Deal with on-ground promoters to evaluate the best opportunities to increase the market share.
  • Work together with the sales team to create incentive plan for the front line sales/promoters.

Campaign Development & Execution:

  • Plan and execute trade promotions, including in-store activities, events, and product launches in the Middle East market.
  • Coordinate the creation of point-of-sale materials (POSM), displays, and promotional tools.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to guide trade marketing efforts in UAE & KSA.
  • Analyze sales and campaign performance data to measure ROI and improve future strategies.
  • Prepare monthly/campaign specific reports on trade marketing activities and outcomes.

Collaboration & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and other trade partners located in the middle east.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams and partners on product knowledge and promotional campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary contact for trade partners to address marketing-related needs.

Budget Management:

  • Ensure cost-effective use of resources, track expenditures and ensure all expenses are aligned with the trade marketing budgets.

 

 

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or brand management, preferably in a similar or retail industry.

Skills:

  • Candidate should be fluent in English & Arabic.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of retail and distribution channels.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail, and target oriented.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
  • Curious, open-minded and a fast learner.
