IT Desktop Support Administrator
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Undertaking installation, configuration, administration, backup & recovery, applying database patches, up gradation, etc.
- Establishing environment by managing system configuration, directing system installation, documenting & enforcing system standards
- Devising strategies for disaster recovery management including planning and designing servers for back-up and recovery
- Resolving problems in server, monitoring servers and making daily check list & reports
- Handling activities related to remote troubleshooting and fault finding, if issues occur upon initial installation
- Extending high-end technical support for various servers and ensuring high customer level satisfaction of their problems
- Installing / configuring and managing Windows Server and Configuring
- Responsible for handling antivirus malware and spyware quarantine issue
- Monitoring network maintenance activities and ensuring prompt troubleshooting of network problems to achieve maximum network uptime
- CCTV Project planning, estimation, implementation, testing and submission.
- Network design, Site visit, Estimation, Structured cabling, Termination, and submission.
- IP PBX system (non-IP) Installation with programing and testing.
- Overseeing Windows Servers 2012, 2019 and Active Directory based environment according Office requirements.
- Udertaking activities related to:
- Installation & configuration Microsoft Apps.
- Setting up company LAN , IT System’s (PC, Laptop, Printer), Communication Devices (PABX System), Security System (CCTV) and System security settings (Antivirus and firewall)
- Creating and maintaining users, security group and user’s authentication
- Looking after: Microsoft Server Tools (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS)
- Administering activities such as:
- Installation and configuration of storage management hardware and software infrastructure
- Troubleshooting issues and delivering resolution for storage hardware & software
- Maintain Printers and proper backup schedule, restore and recover data as requested
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science windows and Server Operating System.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Certification in Microsoft Azure Preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In addition to the technical qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of business processes. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and they must be able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
