DoorBird Sales Manager - ME
Main Duties & Accountabilities:
- Relationship Building with Technology Partners: Cultivate strong relationships with resellers, home automation companies, system integrators, and other technology partners, acting as a trusted advisor for technology-driven solutions.
- Pre-sales and Post-sales Technical Support: Serve as a technical point of contact for both pre-sales and post-sales support for customers across the region. Leverage your technical expertise to guide customers through the selection, installation, and troubleshooting of DoorBird’s products.
- Lead Generation & Sales Conversion: Identify and develop new business opportunities by nurturing inbound inquiries, converting leads into sales, and building long-term relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing business.
- Revenue Growth: Work closely with existing clients to identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services, driving growth and expanding DoorBird’s footprint in the region.
- Promotion of High-End Tech Solutions: Present, promote, and sell our advanced technology solutions tailored to the needs of home automation professionals, system integrators, and other tech-oriented B2B customers.
- Customer Problem-Solving & Support: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections with technical solutions, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Provide actionable insights and tailored product recommendations to meet customers’ unique needs.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor technology trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to remain ahead of industry shifts. Provide valuable feedback to the product development and marketing teams on emerging customer needs.
- Collaboration on Promotional Campaigns: Partner with ASSA ABLOY’s internal teams to strategize and implement targeted promotional campaigns that highlight the technical strengths and benefits of the DoorBird products.
- Coordinating with Technical Teams: Collaborate closely with technical support teams to provide seamless post-sales assistance, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful product deployment.
- Product Availability & Logistics Coordination: Engage with the supply chain and customer service teams to ensure timely product availability and efficient order fulfillment.
- Training & Mentorship: Mentor and train junior sales representatives from ASSA ABLOY’s business partners, improving their technical understanding of the product range and enhancing their sales effectiveness.
- Market Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify key technology trends and commercial opportunities in the market. Implement business plans that align with the region’s growing demand for advanced solutions.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop, implement, and adjust annual sales plans based on changing market conditions. Monitor performance, make adjustments as needed, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Competitive Positioning: Ensure DoorBird products are positioned effectively within the competitive landscape, maintaining an edge over other technologies and ASSA ABLOY's other brands. Adhere to brand guidelines to maintain consistent messaging.
- Internal Collaboration & Brand Advocacy: Act as a key internal advocate for DoorBird, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic objectives while promoting the brand’s technological capabilities and vision.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate contracts with new clients and renewals with existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and recurring business opportunities.
- Continuous Market Improvement: Consistently evaluate the market, identify gaps, and implement strategies to improve DoorBird’s position in the Middle Eastern market, ensuring long-term success in a competitive technology-driven landscape.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technology-oriented sales, with a focus on home automation, smart systems, or ELV products. Proven experience in a B2B technology sales role is essential.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technology products, especially in the home automation, security, or smart technology sectors. Ability to convey technical information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Sales Track Record: Proven success in driving sales growth, meeting or exceeding targets, and developing business within new and existing accounts.
- Relationship Management: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, resellers, and customers.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Middle Eastern market, its specific dynamics, and customer demands in the tech and automation sectors.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen with the ability to implement effective strategies that result in measurable business growth.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior sales reps, and take ownership of the brand’s performance in the region.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in sales, marketing, or technology are a plus.
