We’re seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who thrives in a hunter role. You’ll be on the front lines of our growth strategy prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, and booking meetings with healthcare decision-makers. As our Sales Development Representative – Healthcare RTLS, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Prospecting & Cold Calling: Identifying and engaging new healthcare prospects through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach. 50-70 calls per day.
  • Lead Qualification: Following up on inbound leads, assessing fit, and nurturing them into opportunities. Understanding challenges like interoperability, patient engagement, cost containment, and compliance. Qualifying leads based on procurement cycles and budget constraints unique to healthcare.
  • Meeting Booking: Securing appointments with C-suite executives, directors, and key stakeholders in healthcare organizations.
  • Collaboration: Partnering and collaborating directly with Business Development to ensure smooth handoff and maximize conversion with our Account Executives
  • Pipeline Management: Maintaining accurate records in CRM and consistently meeting activity and meeting targets.
  • Communication and Relationship Building. Translating technology benefits into outcomes that resonate with clinicians and administrators.
  • Hunter Mentality: Having success in outbound sales, with resilience and persistence in cold calling. Comforting with high-volume cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Documenting all sales activities in Salesforce and meeting daily KPIs
  • Track Record: Demonstrating ability to hit or exceeding quotas in previous SDR or sales roles.
  • Healthcare Familiarity: Understanding of healthcare industry dynamics and ability to speak credibly with executives.
  • C-Suite Engagement: Connecting with senior decision-makers and building trust quickly.
  • Tech-Savvy: Learning and articulating technology solutions.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, organized, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

Your Experience and Background include: 

  • Diploma or degree in business or marketing required. A lower-level degree combined with additional relevant experience may be considered.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience or transferable experience, including cold calling.
  • Knowledge and passion for technology and cloud-based products.
  • A competitive and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated skills using Salesforce
  • Sales experience and training at a Healthcare or Medical technology company is preferred
  • Experience at a SaaS company is preferred

Work Requirements

  • Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country they are hired without company sponsorship, now or in the future.  
  • This position does not qualify for relocation assistance; candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance during the entire duration of their employment with the company or be willing to relocate to reside in British Columbia at their own expense prior to their start date.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range does not account for geographic differentials based on the location where the position may be filled. At HID, it is uncommon for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range. Final compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each case.

 

The base salary for CAD is $75,000 CAD to $80,000 CAD.
