Testing Engineer

What would you do as a Test Engineer?

Reporting to the Test Centre Manager, the primary objectives of this position are to:

• To conduct testing in a precise, accurate, methodical, and timely manner

• To produce test reports accurately and in line with department KPI’s

• To maintain Test Centre standards in line with UKAS accreditation and ISO compliance

• To liaise with customers regarding testing queries

The Skills and Experience you need:

We are looking for someone who has most of the skills below:

• Experience in the fenestration industry with good hardware knowledge is preferred but not required

• Experience in a test house environment is preferred but not required

• Methodical approach to procedures and protocols

• Ability to write clear and concise test reports

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

• PC literate, competent in MS office suite, particularly Word and Excel

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent time management with an efficient approach

• An understanding of health and safety requirements such as risk assessments, safe systems of work and operating procedures is preferred but not required

• High attention to detail
