About the role – Service Technician Assistant 


The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting of the Hinge Upgrade Project for Te Pae Convention Center

 

Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, the role is responsible for:

  • Adhere to all of Te Pae Health and Safety requirements, assist contractor install doors for upgrade project, this includes maintaining Firewatch when needed. Installation of other hardware will also be required.
  • Required to report findings each night to message chats with photos and any remedials needed.
  • Complete paperwork/documents as per quality and timeliness standard
  • Liaise with Project Manager on any issues that may arise from sites and other services in a timely manner
  • Comply with Company and site inductions/checks (drug, alcohol, police, working with children, flu shots/vaccines and other required checks) and other WHS requirements at all times.

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical role
  • Experience preferably in the building materials, service and/or installation industry
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes
  • Must be able to get to site on time
  • Must be able to work flexibly (overtime, out of hours, including weekends)
