Sales and Marketing Executive - Retail and Distribution

 

A Sales and Marketing Executive develops and implements strategies to drive sales and brand awareness, which includes identifying customers, creating campaigns, and building client relationships. Key responsibilities involve conducting market research, preparing sales reports, presenting products, negotiating deals, and analyzing performance data to meet sales targets: 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement retail sales and marketing strategies, including online and offline campaigns, to promote products or services.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, new business opportunities, and target customer segments.
  • Generate leads through various channels, conduct sales presentations, negotiate deals, and manage the sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with clients by addressing their questions, handling complaints, and gathering feedback.
  • Create marketing materials, manage social media campaigns, and organize promotional events.
  • Track and analyze sales data and marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports to management.
  • Work closely with other departments and external partners, such as sales teams, product managers, and advertising agencies. 

 

Required skills and qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience in a similar role, with minimum 1-2 years' experience.
  • Knowledge in marketing tactics and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software, such as Adobe, Photoshop and Goggle analytics, SEM, SEO.
  • Result-driven, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
