Overview
Senior Lead Mobility Engineer with deep experience in building and scaling iOS applications using Flutter. This role is responsible for leading mobile feature development, driving technical decisions, and ensuring high-quality delivery. You will mentor engineers, review architecture and code, and work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build reliable, performant mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of iOS applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Own mobile architecture decisions and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Work with native iOS (Swift / Objective-C) code for integrations and platform-specific features.
- Drive best practices for coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, improve app stability, and optimize performance.
- Review code, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define and deliver features.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, mobile build automation, and release processes.
- Ensure compliance with App Store guidelines and manage production releases.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills Required
- 12+ years of experience in mobile application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Flutter and Dart for production-grade applications.
- Solid experience with native iOS development using Swift and/or Objective-C.
- Deep understanding of iOS frameworks, app lifecycle, memory management, and performance tuning.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling secure data storage.
- Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and mobile build tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for mobile apps.
- Proven experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Apple App Store.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
Good to have
- Experience with Firebase services.
- Experience with push notifications.
- Experience with unit and widget testing in Flutter.
