Senior Lead D365 FO Developer

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a technical specialist with skillset related to AX/D365 FO to join the EMEIA ERP Program, collaborating closely with EMEIA IT Team.
The Job holder would operate and streamline the development organization aligned with delivery processes and provide technical leadership to internal and external development team members. The candidate would also maintain high standards of software quality in line with the EMEIA ERP Development Policy and deal with Development suppliers for EMEIA ERP Instances. Identify and detect areas for improvements within the ERP Solutions and Team is also part of the job.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operate and streamline the development organization aligned with delivery processes.
- Provide technical leadership to internal and external development team members.
- Maintain high standards of software quality in line with the EMEIA ERP Development Policy.
- Deal with Development suppliers for EMEIA ERP Instances
- Identify and detect areas for improvements within the ERP Solutions and Team
Tasks
- Guiding Developers (internal, external) to follow development best practices and Development & Deployment policies
- Regular updating of Development & Deployment Documentation
- Implementing automated deployment and testing process
- Regular Code reviews
- Finding Solutions with Code merge and Deployments issues
- Guiding ISV suppliers on the right deliveries for EMEIA ERP Instances
- Regular Deployments of new Microsoft versions and ISV upgrades into D365F&O
- Set up and monitor KPIs for development processes.
- Prepare reports and documentation on development status and quality.
Education and/or Experience
• Proven ERP implementation experience in large-scale environments (1000+ users) and strong knowledge of Dynamics AX versions (2009, 2012) and D365F&SCM.
• 12+ years of work experience and at least 10 years of experience in Dynamics AX.
• A perfect understand programming principles and best practices and have knowledge of formal software release and deployment management.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
- X++ coding and debugging (AX 2009, 2012, D365F&O)
- Integration frameworks (AIF, DIXF) and data management in D365FO.
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Programming with the Microsoft .Net framework
- Microsoft Integration stack (Services, Biztalk, MSMQ, Power Tools), Dell Boomi
• Strong knowledge of following tools:
- Familiarity with automated deployment and DevOps practices.
- Visual Studio Tools for Dynamics AX and X++; GITHUB
- Morph X++
- Team Foundation Server (including AX)
Language Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
Personal Characteristics
- Able to prioritize and plan work to high quality in line with deadlines
- Able to work as part of diverse teams including Process Owners, Super Users, Consultants, Developers and Suppliers
- Excellent presentation skills
- Able to prioritize and plan work in line with deadlines

- Ability to analyze business requirements and design solutions in line with the EMEA template
- Willing to work at various ASSA ABLOY locations throughout EMEA
- Willingness and ability to travel within this role
- Ability to communicate on work completed, implementations defined, tested and deployed.
- Ability to explain requirements and work closely with developers (all areas of expertise).
- Ability to explain and demonstrate how to use ERP tools to users.
- Ability to follow defined IT processes
