Summary: Experienced JD Edwards Programmer with 5–8 years of hands-on expertise in version 9.2, specializing in tools such as Applications, Reports, Business Functions, BSSV, and UDOs. Proven ability to independently handle technical development tasks and resolve issues efficiently. Strong background in production support, with a track record of solving critical problems under tight timelines.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Our ERP solution is based on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) and is a customized solution delivering ERP processes across our IT landscape.
Here are the common job requirements:
- Available to work in rotational shifts (2 PM – 11 PM IST or 6 PM – 3 AM IST)
- Experienced in JD Edwards 9.2 implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects
- Skilled in developing custom tools such as Applications, Reports, BSFN, BSSV, Orchestrations and other UDOs
- Able to understand business requirements, identify gaps, and design solutions that align with JD Edwards standards
- Proficient in program analysis, coding, development, and testing
- Familiar with creating technical documents including design specs, test cases, and user manuals
- Responsible for documenting meeting discussions with the US team and sharing updates with the India team
- Provide technical support during CRP, UAT, and Go-Live phases
- Prepare knowledge documents to capture gaps and ensure smooth handover to the support team
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in analytical thinking, technical problem-solving, and systems design
- Certifications related to JD Edwards (optional but can be an advantage)\
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE and/or ABILITIES
- C, C++, Java Basics, SQL
- Good Aptitude & Communication Skills with Presentation skills as well
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Skilled in analysing complex business requirements and delivering practical solutions that align with organizational goals
- Strong problem-solving abilities in JD Edwards S&D, Manufacturing, Purchase and Finance modules, custom reporting, and system integration issues
- Experienced in data migration, including validation and transformation, with a focus on business data analysis to support better decision-making and process improvements
- Strong ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including business, technical teams
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining focus and delivering results under tight deadlines
- Committed to precision and excellence, with a keen eye for detail and a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality outcomes
