Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Design & Development:

    • Architect and implement end-to-end ETL solutions using ODI for complex business processes.
    • Develop ODI interfaces, mappings, packages, and workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Functional Expertise:

    • Must have functional and business knowledge of Various modules in Oracle E Business Suite

Performance & Optimization:

    • Optimize ODI jobs and database queries for efficiency and scalability.
    • Set up monitoring and alert systems for job failures and performance bottlenecks.

Integration & Architecture:

    • Lead integration projects involving multiple external systems and cloud platforms.
    • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Documentation & Compliance:

    • Maintain detailed technical documentation for all development activities.
    • Enforce coding standards, version control, and agile practices.

Leadership & Mentoring:

    • Guide and mentor ETL/ODI developers, conduct code reviews, and promote continuous learning.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.



Required Skills & Expertise:

Technical Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and ETL processes.
    • Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, scripting languages, and performance tuning.
    • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Apex, and Multi-cloud infrastructure concepts.
    • Must have worked in a Scaled Agile Framework
    • Familiarity/Experience with Oracle Fusion is an advantage

Experience:

    • Minimum 7 - 10 years in data engineering or ETL development, with at least 7 years in ODI.
    • Minimum 7 - 10 years in data engineering or ETL development, with at least 7 years in ODI.
    • Proven track record of leading complex data integration projects.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
