Profile Summary:
The Oracle CPQ Cloud Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable CPQ solutions integrated with Salesforce in a global, multi-org enterprise environment. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Oracle CPQ configuration, commerce, BML scripting, integrations (SOAP/REST), BOM mapping, SSO setup, and CPQ administration activities.
The individual will independently drive technical design, prototyping, and implementation of CPQ solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices in code quality, governance, and data management. The role involves end-to-end ownership of CPQ–Salesforce integrations, troubleshooting complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.
This position requires strong stakeholder communication skills, experience working in large global Salesforce environments (500+ users), and the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams to deliver high-quality CPQ implementations.

Roles & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Minimum 5+years of experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud with at least 2 successful project implementations.
- Must have technical hands-on development experience in configuration, commerce, Integrations, Document designer, Workflow Approvals, Email Templates, Steps, BML and layout design for configuration and commerce.
- Must have hands -on experience in CPQ Administrative activities like environment setup, Data table management, File Manager, User and Group management, Parts creation, Code Migration and Cascading Stylesheets (CSS).
- Proven Ability to work independently and able to perform hands on development tasks, Prototyping, proof-of-concepts, technical design on a scalable solution as required in support of current and new oracle CPQ cloud projects.
- Experience in integrating CPQ to third party applications using SOAP/REST API .
- End to end hands-on experience on integrating CPQ with salesforce.com.
- Technical hands-on experience on setting up SSO with CPQ Technical hands on experience in BOM Mapping.
- Expertise in troubleshooting/debugging issues and identifying/documenting the Root Cause analysis RCA.
- Experience in raising Technical service Requests with Oracle and taking the issue to Closure.
- Adhere to best practices constantly around code/data source control etc. during the course of an assignment.
- Ability to coordinate with the team members and able to take ownership of assigned deliverables. conduct code reviews to ensure the developed code meets the customer requirements.
- Strong communication skills and should be able to communicate effectively with Team members and clients.
- Should be certified in Oracle CPQ (Preferred) .
- Should be able to provide solutioning and design for business requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related business area
- 5+ years of experience with development and technical implementations of Salesforce projects in a multi-org, global environment of 500+ users on Salesforce Enterprise or Unlimited version.
Other Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows Operating System
