Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our team. This role will focus on architecting, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will be an AWS expert with a strong background in automation, serverless architecture, and container orchestration. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our cloud strategy and support our journey towards a fully automated, resilient, and efficient cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, Route53, CloudFront, ECS, Kubernetes).

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or CDK to automate deployments and streamline infrastructure management.

• Develop serverless architectures using AWS Lambda to support scalable and cost-efficient applications.

• Optimize and secure DNS management with Route53 and global content delivery with CloudFront.

• Oversee container orchestration using Kubernetes and ECS for application deployments.

• Integrate Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) and manage user identities and access control across cloud services.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and performance optimization of cloud resources.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cloud infrastructure needs and ensure seamless integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.

• Proven expertise in using CloudFormation or CDK for infrastructure automation.

• Advanced knowledge of serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.

• Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and AWS ECS.

• Proficiency with Route53, CloudFront, EC2, and S3.

• Experience with IAM and Okta SSO for identity management and secure access control.

• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification

Additional Skills

• Experience with managing & deploying Gitlab server for CI/CD pipeline management.

• Hands-on experience managing & deploying SonarQube for code quality and security analysis.

• Familiarity with Nexus server management for artifact repositories.

• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.

• Experience with frontend development using languages like ReactJS etc.  (Needed for managing Developer Portal called Backstage)

• Experience in monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana etc.

• Basic experience with Azure Cloud.

• Basic experience for building AI/RAG solutions.

• Basic programming skills in Python and frontend development in React JS.
