Position Summary

Salesforce Analyst works across HID Business Areas and Shared Functions to identify requirements and scope where changes to SALESFORCE cloud ecosystem, tools, and data and process are required to deliver specific business outcomes.  This role will be responsible for training, rollout, and optimization of SALESFORCE platform, including its connection with marketing, customer service, technical support, customer websites and other connected activities. 

Primary responsibilities include hands on knowledge of Salesforce cloud ecosystem to support rollout of a strategic roadmap that embeds capabilities within the Business Areas to improve adoption and value realization.  This role will require connecting and influencing multiple teams to drive standardized commercial processes with simplified Salesforce interface and reliable data to raise end user leverage of overall Salesforce platform.  The role will be central to the CRM CoE team operations in building up a network of user champions in the Business Areas that drives local adoption activities through best-in-class training, Salesforce reports & dashboards, and functional knowledge of Salesforce.  The position will require partnering with relevant CRM/IT teams providing guidance on best practices and approaches to align CRM Center of Excellence goals and objectives with key decisions regarding Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Marketo) products and services. 

This role will require becoming a trusted advisor to business colleagues in the use and deployment of Salesforce and data derived from the platform to drive commercial excellence.  In addition, the position will work with the Business Area commercial leads, Digital Engagement leads, Marketing Communications, and IT teams to ensure ongoing advancement of regular data / analytical improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop Salesforce training curriculum and administer knowledge to network of user champions.  Also train new and existing users to improve leverage of Salesforce platform.

  • Build and maintain Salesforce Training Repository driving more “self-service” training with business areas.

  • Help build network of Salesforce user champions by disseminating knowledge of platform.  Play key liaison responsibilities, effectively coordinating and communicating between sales, marketing, and customer service teams.

  • Deliver actionable data from Salesforce to various teams and support ongoing reporting/dashboard requests. 

  • Participate in discovery and requirements refinement sessions to uncover customer’s business, functional, and technological requirements. 

  • Build relationships across HID IT partners to establish SALESFORCE solution enhancements and related training activities.

  • Contribute to standards and best practices for Salesforce platform ongoing adoption initiatives.

  • Play key role in design of Salesforce with a keen eye on user experience, process efficiency, and data integrity.

  • Data management and database management experience preferred, but not required.

  • Strong math and analytical skills required.

  • Data visualization experience required.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com, Data Warehouse, Enterprise application systems, and sales/marketing automation.

  • Must possess excellent organization and time management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines.

  • Strong presentation skills and experience with video conference software required.

  • Proficient in reading and creating process flow charts and diagrams.

  • Strong teamwork orientation: works well with cross-functional departments and ability to build and maintain strong relationships; willingness to help larger teams meet goals and responsibilities.

 

Preferred Qualities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field

  • Formal Salesforce.com training.

  • Sales Operations experience, 2+ years

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator, CRMA a plus

 

Experience Required:

  • Proven functional professional with 3+ years total experience as Salesforce global implementation (minimum 300 users)

  • Direct experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud or equivalent

  • Extensive experience with Salesforce reporting/dashboards, CRMA, Proficient with Demandtools, Data Loader, Workbench and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, interpersonal, conflict resolution and customer service skills

  • Must be able to work within business process, IT and business teams

  • Ability to articulate end to end process and technical requirements across delivery functions

  • Able to analyze Salesforce data, and drive actions with business to keep it reliable, and repeatable

  • Experience using Agile Project Management process

 

Computer Skills:

  • 3+ years progressive experience deploying SALESFORCE globally with minimum of 2 complete enterprise-wide implementations.

  • Exposure to breath of SALESFORCE ecosystems (Sales, Service, Communities, CPQ, Marketo)
